Transforming you and your families health journey
Hi, I am Dr Beth Eames
I am thrilled to be part of the team at Cornwall Medical Centre. As a Family Medicine Consultant, originally from the UK, my focus is on providing high-quality healthcare to families and individuals. My aim is to help each patient achieve optimal health outcomes and enjoy the best quality of life possible.
My approach to being a GP is centered around listening to patients, providing accessible care, offering family-centered care, and prioritizing preventative health.
Understanding your needs
One of the things that I believe is most important in a GP is the ability to listen to and understand my patients’ needs. This means taking the time to hear each patient’s concerns, providing clear explanations, and involving you in the decision-making process when it comes to your healthcare. I strive to make sure that each patient feels heard, valued, and respected in our interactions.
14+ yrs of Newborn to Senior Whanau-centred care
As a mother of four children, I understand the importance of family-centered care.
Families often have unique healthcare needs that require specialised attention.
From newborns to seniors; I have over 14 years experience as a Doctor, so can offer comprehensive care that meets the needs of the entire family.
Flexible; I offer in person, phone and video consults
I understand that people have busy lives and don’t always have the time or ability to come to the clinic for every concern.
That’s why I offer phone and video consultations.
I also provide access to an online portal for; booking appointments, reviewing test results and repeat prescriptions.

Trained in all of the different specialities of medicine; for example Paediatrics, Mental Health, Travel Medicine and Geriatrics.
I am also experienced in minor procedures, skin lesion checks and surgeries including mole removal, ingrown toe nails and some steroid joint injections to meet your health care needs in one place.
Prevention is key
“I believe that prevention is key to maintaining good health. Regular check-ups, screening tests, and vaccinations can help prevent many common health problems.”
